An ORANGE Sockhead Hat!
The yarn is a merino/cashmere/nylon sock yarn from Invictus Yarns over on the etsy in the Sweet Clementine colorway. I knit this for a friend, who picked the color. Loving the yarn was easy. Now I love the color, too, and will miss it when I've used it all.
Remember my Clap-ish scarf? I've been wearing it quite a bit lately and love it. I need to finish the other one I have in progress because it's the perfect thing for current weather conditions and hate of wearing proper coats.
Oh, and it's raining off and on. Windy on more than off with a side of flood warnings for no reason in my area. Non-locals are making happy sounds about the drought being over. Locals are trying not to laugh in anyone's face. Not sure how long that will last.
I know I shouldn't be watching it but I am watching Stalker and enjoying it. I can't say no to Maggie Q, and don't exactly understand why CBS is acting like she's not the lead when she clearly is. Then again, it's CBS. I shouldn't expect better.
Speaking of not expecting better, I am suffering through NCIS: New Orleans for the time being. While disappointed in the casting, I can't be surprised given the fact that it's CBS, again, and that Mark Harmon is an executive producer. That explains the lack of diversity on a show based in NOLA.
I've been spinning rather a lot lately. Inspired (or feeling challenged) by an incredibly baseless ego, who thinks it knows all when it knows less than nothing in reality. I don't know it all, but I do know how to spin like a motherfucker.
Not exciting, but you don't read me for excitement, now do you?
