I have worked the kinks out of my little sock pattern. Three pairs of socks will do that for a girl.
Since I'm not a broken record, not working on my knitting skills nor am I in dire need of an intervention, I'm done cranking out tiny little socks for a while.
Yes, I really love that flax colourway. I couldn't help myself. On the bright side, it's going to be a long while before either of those yarns return to this blog in the form of a new project. Even I have had my fill. However, I must say... making a contrasting ribbing was super simple and kind of fun.
The pair on the left is the only new yarn I used. I've been reading about 25 grams skeins of sock yarn and, when I found some My First Regia at my LYS, I took it as a sign. I have size 8 feet and still had a bit left over. Now I know that you can make a pair of my little sock pattern for less than 111 yards if you have the right size feet.
Research. Weird, right?
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to find a new non-sock project.
Happy Sunday, everyone!
Don't forget that there is still time to join the Summer of Socks!
