When most of Buffalo, NY and Crazy in AZ move onto your porch to keep tabs on you, it must be time to update the "knitting" blog.
I took a brief break from knitting round and round to knit back and forth. It was way too hot to go out into the world and get more yarn, so when I ran out, that was it.
Even though, it is no longer 103F, I'm not in a hurry to make more. They're nice enough but not my idea of mindless. Maybe if the yarn was something I loved but this is not that yarn.
Naturally, I returned to going round and round and round and...
I know you will not be surprised to learn that this is m kind of mindless knitting. It's well. No more rounds with errors, which is always a good thing. I have my doubts that I will need all of the yarn I have for this, but we'll see.
Currently on round 73 with an eye on round 79 aka the last round. Naturally, the rounds are very long now. I'd like to say it will be done by the end of the weekend, but who knows. Long boring rounds slow me down.
Speaking of slowing down, I finally finished the natural coloured fiber that's been on my wheel longer than it should have been. I still need to ply but I can't think about that right now.
Our darling Kym believes in picking purple when in doubt. Her words rang in my ears last night as I went into the stash to pick something new to spin. It's the purple from the other day. So far so good, but the silk already wants to go everywhere with me and I'm just not that kinda girl.
Shocking, right?
Now, if you'll excuse me, World Cup is starting and I need to go yell at the telly for a while.
