I have worked the kinks out of my little sock pattern. Three pairs of socks will do that for a girl.
Since I'm not a broken record, not working on my knitting skills nor am I in dire need of an intervention, I'm done cranking out tiny little socks for a while.
Yes, I really love that flax colourway. I couldn't help myself. On the bright side, it's going to be a long while before either of those yarns return to this blog in the form of a new project. Even I have had my fill. However, I must say... making a contrasting ribbing was super simple and kind of fun.
The pair on the left is the only new yarn I used. I've been reading about 25 grams skeins of sock yarn and, when I found some My First Regia at my LYS, I took it as a sign. I have size 8 feet and still had a bit left over. Now I know that you can make a pair of my little sock pattern for less than 111 yards if you have the right size feet.
Research. Weird, right?
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to find a new non-sock project.
Happy Sunday, everyone!
Don't forget that there is still time to join the Summer of Socks!
They're awesome!

I love them! Especially the ones in the middle. Beautiful stripes. (What a coincidence, I wear a size 8 too...ahem.) ;)

I'm being loyal to the current shawl, but as soon as that is done I'm knitting some of these little socks!
Happy Sunday!

I love the purple-y green pair. How about a shell top in linen or flax?

I love them. I could use little socks like that. It's hotter than hell outside and freezing ass cold inside. Or one makes the other feel that way.

Those are not little socks. They are tiny knitted canoes. Cute, though!
