I found an amazing site the other day. Insightful, interesting, and all around fabulous. My second thought upon finding it was how all y'all would love it. Then I realized that I couldn't link to it here because my little copycat would take the link to their blog and post it like they had found it... and I'm not having that anymore.
Why do I think that? Because it's happened before. No, I don't read the blog in question. A couple of friends do and I just love getting emails telling me how someone posted something they'd seen on my blog without mentioning that they found it on my blog.
Yeah...
Does it really matter? No. However, if you are trying to sell yourself, you should be selling yourself and not others. Hello!
What have I been doing for the last week besides finding things I can't share here?
Working on a sock pattern and tweaking the pattern. I'm starting to hate socks, which is not a good thing as summer is coming and the Summer of Socks will be riding again this year. No drama. No pressure. No bullshit.
Spent the weekend with a taco salad and Colin Farrell. Still trying to get over the shock of our Trish not seeming to know how wonderful he is. How can we be friends when she doesn't seem to get it?! o.O
Speaking of not getting it, Tour de Fleece is now less than 100 days away. All the painfully overeager people are in that group. To me, the new rules speak volumes and almost make me pity the mods. Almost. I think it's going to be another epic year from them.
It should not come as a surprise that Team CrankyPants will once again have absolutely nothing to do with that group. We will continue our no pressure, do what you want, no one cares as long as you're happy ways. This year, with the addition of make what you want, no one cares anymore.
This means, if you've wanted to join us in the past but have held back because you're not a spinner, you can join in on the fun without feeling like the only kid who can't swim at the pool party.
Just remember your sunblock. It's going to a heck of a summer...
but now I wanna knooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

You have been such a busy grrl. On the innerweb at the very least. There is always a copycat when you're a cool kid!

Any weekend with taco salad and Colin Farrell is my kind of weekend. Just sayin'.

Imma going to learn how to weave soon, from someone who is a kick-ass weaver (and had her 6th chemo treatment today). I may do a weaving thing for TdF, even though it's not spinning.

I don't think I'd ever seen Colin Farrell in a movie until I saw "Saving Mr. Banks".
I am now a fan.
The Internet is an ... *interesting* ... place. I fell down a very weird rabbit hole this morning. Not sharing it with anyone. I don't want to admit to having been there.

Taco salad rocks. Not that they would eat that in MY house. ;-) And you tease us so...isn't imitation the highest form of flattery?

Now you're going to have to do a mass email to your loved ones with the link to that site.

What Cheryl said!

More mystery and intrigue! Now I want to know what site that was. Nothing makes one want something more than telling them they can't have it....we are so predictable, we humans!
ps I like your Team Crankypants attitude.

Agreeing with Cheryl! :)
I'm saving a pair of socks that are Just This Close to being done for Summer of Socks. That way I can actually finish socks instead of just lurking! :)
xoxo

Why can't some people play well with others?
I am looking forward to Summer of Socks. I may or may not actually knit socks since that is what I've been doing but I love knowing it's sock time:)
