I did not forget you

I've just been busy being busy and haven't had a lot of time for you.  I'm mostly sorry and hope you will understand.

Last week, it was The Wire.  This week, it's Deadwood.  There is no telling where next week will bring me.  Darling Toni mentioned Deadwood and I'm glad she did.  When it was running, I took a pass because I'm a product of the West, and, therefore, not really interested in the tales of it.  John Sutter was a son of a bitch and really that's more than I needed to know.  However, Deadwood is a happy surprise and I am greatly enjoying getting to spin while watching.

Yes, spinning.  Mostly because I can but partly because our Natalie sent me the most beautiful batt and I HAD to spin it.  Only time will tell if I enjoy the plying as much as I am enjoying the spinning of the singles.

Also waiting for some yarn to dry...

Still dealing with the business of death.  Learning a great deal as I go and doing my best to be a good sport all the way through.  Feeling better, fixing my attitude, and wondering why the shadows are so long at two in the afternoon.

Haven't watched "Deadwood". I'm currently working my way back through Seasons 1 and 2 of "Downton Abbey". Thomas and O'Brien are SUCH TROUBLE.

I just finished watching 4 seasons of the Walking Dead, I'm so behind on tv right now because I got caught up listening to some comedy podcasts. Deadwood looks really interesting, that's been on my list for a while-- maybe I should move it up on my queue?

Deadwood must be watched after all the kids are in bed & fully asleep - but it's amusing. I've been a sucker for anything with Ian McShane in it since we Lovejoy.
