Charade socks in the Hot Flash colorway of STR but don't. Shorty length. Knit toe-up with CCSRs for toes and heels. Magic looped with a sewn bind-off. Fabulous mindless knitting.
Charade ribbed. Again with the Cookie Cuter Short Row toes and heels. Still with the magic loopage, knitting toe-up and that sewn bind-off.
Don't those photos look like she's taking a photo break from doing some kind of abs workout on the floor? Or is that just how my mind works these days?
Yeah, don't answer that...
I've been told it's Mega May.
Don't get me wrong. I appreciate it when someone I know I can trust comes along and tells me what we're doing. I so really know anymore...
Not only am I busy with my Mega May wedding lace project, but I'm also busy writing things that won't get posted here. Blog posts for someone who is moving this week. Rules and what-not for the Summer of Socks people. I'm hoping to give a timeline this week but we'll see...
Also running another thing this month that's taking more brain-power than I thought it would when I started. Isn't that always the way? Still... we're almost to the halfway point, so it's too late to quit (plus I'm not a quitter) and it's too late to flake out. I'm a bit flaky but some high quality exfoliating would fix that. ;^)
Dealing with a case of wanting what I can't have. I knit lace while lusting after socks. By the time I am done with the lace and expected to be knitting socks, I will be in love with my spinning wheel again. At least, I know and understand what's happening, right?
Right?!
The grass is always greener . . . and all that! Those socks are so lovely. I really need to give that Charade a try.

I feel the same way. I always want to knit whatever I'm not knitting now:)
The socks are lovely!

The socks are so cute! (It does look a little like she's been doing leg lifts.)
Hope the wedding lace is long enough soon so you can knit those socks or do that spinning! Whatever strikes your fancy. :)

Every time you flash a pair of socks, you make me want to cast on a pair of my own. It's like magic, I tell ya.

I'm a bit uncertain what Mega-May is except for the big sticks with polka dot ends and the tiny goats;-p It's just the middle of May today, so you're doing fine, right? Right???? Hugs, hunny. Love the socks (of course), and you are way too busy, ya know?

Leg lifts? I am famous for not exercising!
I just sit and snap the photo before the sun goes away.
Thank you for putting up with me the past few weeks!
And the fabulous sock!

Some people don't read the small print. Even when it's in regular font. Remember that lesson. You want I should send you some fiber?

I was going to say what Cheryl said. Being busy is what you get for being all things to all people. You are the best of what a friend is.

So when is summer? I only ask because it was 90 degrees last Saturday and I'm pretty sure it's in the low 50's today. Although yay.
Still with the wedding shawl? It's been days!! At least a week.
