Fiber Fluff Wednesday

Is it weird in here?  Or is it just me?

Shut up!

A couple of weeks ago, I teased you all with a photo of cute little bags stuffed with spinning fiber.  Remember?  Well, I have some finished yarn to show you.  See... I do more with my days than just go to the Target.  (Although, there are days where that seems to be the only thing I do.)

Just a tiny taste of the Merino Seacell fiber in the Salsa colorway that I ordered from Knit It Up! over at etsy.  I LOVED spinning this fiber.  The seacell added a wonderful shine to the merino and it was fast and very enjoyable to spin.  If I ever start to knit with my own handspun, I will need more of this fluff.  Thankfully for me, she has several colorway that I'm crazy about.

883 yards of 2-ply yarn from 4 oz of 70% superwash Merino Wool and 30% SeaCell

Can I get a Woo Hoo?

Color is better in the fluff photo here and the photo at Etsy.  Remember where you are.  Good photos are a fluke and should never be expected.  Delusions are grander are fine as long as we realize it's just my ego talking and I don't really have the skillz to back it up.  :p

Have you tried a silk/merino blend? I'm curious how it would compare against the seacell/merino. OK, yes, I should just look in your archives.
