Just another weekend in October here in California.
Last night, I cast on for the dreaded black wool cardi. I'm hoping to curl up with the kitty and work on it today. Nothing says fall like miles of seed stitch using black yarn, right?
I seem to have lost my sock mojo (& an actual sock) and the silk lace shawl is still in question/time-out, so I'm hoping the black wool will save me. Although, I think it's more likely that it will just give me eyestrain. ;^)
Hopefully, I'll be able to cure the sock issues. If not, I'm not sure what we'll be talking about next week. Unless you want to hear a week's worth of rants because after this week, honey, I've got them. o.0
Tomorrow! Sock failure and my total lack of the sock mojo.
Black seed stitch??? Oh you poor thing... Here's hoping your sock mojo returns!

"THE" black wool? Of ill repute? I think I found your sock mojo. Want it back?

What did you do that you feel the need to punish yourself with black seed stitch?! It must have been realy bad

I hope you have very good lighting, Cookie. Black seed stitch will be wonderful when it is finished and, actually, may hide any minor errors, right? Are you using your own pattern or is it in the internets somewhere?
Rants are useful, if only to get it out of your system. Go ahead! /runs

Sounds to me like you need to buy more yarn! ;-)

The black seed stitch will totally be worth it in the end. I'm sure you will need to make a sock or two while you're working on the cardi. I'm just sayin ... . ;)

You need to go and do some fiber therapy! It always helps me...not my wallet...but me! :-)

Sounds like we're having the same sock issues. I might have found a cure for mind, but that's questionable.
