The End of Silence

I'm sitting here with the radio on, listening to music, dogs barking, a leaf blower running and a scrub jay yelling about something.  The wind has stopped for now and without the sounds of modern life, it's quiet.  Except that there is no escaping the sounds of modern life.  Well.. not for any real amount of time.

Winter was dark, cold and lonely.

Winter is over now. 

Time for rebirth, renewal, and all the sounds that life bring us. 

While I have loved hiding in the dark, it's time to go out into the sun and see what the world has to offer.  Even if it's going to make me all itchy, pink and cranky.  Too much beauty on offer to continue hiding...
