Pink & Blue

That was yesterday's sky.  Much better than today's darker day.  Trust me.

I'm not sure what kind of tree is blooming there, but I love it... because I don't have to clean up after it.

Last night, I did another repeat of the second chart on the leaf lace before throwing myself at that cabled sock.  I got halfway thru the cuff before the cat told me to turn off the lights and pet her. 

I'm hoping to finish the cuff today and do another repeat on the lace.  No photos of it till I'm done, btw.  I think part of the trouble with the grey lace was me showing it too soon.

I went to the post office this morning.  I'm still waiting on a knitpicks order.  Plus there was a rumor of a box from Reno during the week.  I was happy to see a key waiting for me in my post box.  I had to wiggle past a few families standing in line to get their passport stuff done in order to get my package.  I was very impressed with how well the kids were waiting.  I'm not that patient or well behaved now.  *L*

The package turned out to be from Scout's Indie Swag.  I'll wait on posting photos till more people have gotten theirs.  I love the both the yarn, which is a yummy blend and fab colorway, and the goodie.  I think I'll be using this yarn once I've finished those cabled socks of doom... assuming I live that long.

Pink blooming stuff? Shoot..we are supposed to get major ice tonight I guess. I figure if I don't watch the weather it won't happen.

Oh a fun day getting a package in the mail! Only thing I hate about spring is that it means summer will arrive sooner. I am so not a summer fan...well unless that fan is blowing on me.
