<~ That is my happy place..
No... really...
WTF! Friday:
I went to the big Joann's craft store in the next county because I needed fabric to line my felted bag(s), a zipper (or two...) and something to use as a handle(s). I'm also on the look out for a few other little things for yet another project or two.
Without going into a lot of detail, let me just offer up two pieces of information and ya'll can do your own maths.
01. I hate children. No, that's not fair. I do not hate quiet, polite, well behaved children, who know how and when to use an inside voice and say "excuse me, Ma'am" rather than pulling on you toget your attention. However, it's been a long time since I've seen any of those, so let's just say I hate children.
02. I have been in quieter child care centers compared to that Joanns this morning.
No... really!
I did not leave happy. Nor did I leave with anything on my Must Get list. Oh, and there was a dog in line ahead of me.

At least, he was quiet and well behaved.
From there, I went to a quilt fabric store to look for fabric for a different project. I found fabric that I can make work because it's not what I wanted, but I'm not as picky as I was before leaving the house this morning. I also found fabric on sale that would work for my felted bag(s). I get it cut and am chatting with the owner. She rings me up and I write my cheque without really thinking.
Then I get in the car.
I realize that I was charged regular price for fabric that was 50% off.
I am not happy, but it's my own damn fault. She had gotten busy while at the registar and I'm guessing forgot about the sale/clearance price.
That's the fabric with the bag(s), btw. I'm trying to be happy about finding it and getting that much closer to getting that thing finished... with a side of annoyed.
Oh, and my happy place? Yarn I had to dye and over-dye a record three times, but I love it.
Love the cables, too.
*hugs my happy place*
