It's a fingerless mitt!
Yes, I am a little too proud of it.
It's my faked version of Knitty's Fetching.
I did a tubular cast on because I love how finished they look and that's someone people will notice on a fingerless mitt.
I did a simpler thumb. Technique stolen from the Easy Mitten pattern I used for Bitchin'Mittens. I also made the thumb longer.
I used more cables at the wrist because I wanted that part to be longer and I like how it turned out. I also did a simpler bind off as the one used in the pattern was more than I could manage at the time.
Now I have to make the other one...
Now those are cool! I love the colors, too! They look like the type of mitten a person needs at least a couple pairs of in varying colors. Love the finish, too. Looks SO polished. Dang you knitters are talented!!

I love both the socks and the fingerless. Just look how far you have come from the 'I don't want to knit mittens.' LOL.
