WTF! Friday meets Freak Flag Friday
The other day I was reading the Yarn Harlot's blog and saw that her sock had been held and photographed with some very attractive men... all of whom were famous in some way or another. One of them was Charlie Sexton. The Charlie Sexton that some sick/wicked/15 year old part of me has been in love with to varying degrees for over twenty years.

Y'all have no idea how thrilled I was that the boy had heard of him... from John Mayer's myspace. *sigh* I'll take what I can get.
Later that night while working on this week's Sunday Sock, I realized something.
If the Sunday Sock project had been born a week or so earlier, I could have had pictures of rock star type boys holding one of my socks!
Merde!
No, I'm not bitter or anything. Just very pouty over the whole thing and annoyed that I hadn't thought of this on my own... and sooner.
You see, the boy I love was invited to an invite only gig by The Panic Channel in LA a week or so ago. He spent a bit of time with the boys and I'm sure they would have been willing to humor him and get a picture taken with his girl's sock.
No... really.
I like to think he loves me enough to have asked Steve Isaacs or Dave Navarro to do this for him. I mean... come on! I'm sure they have all done far weirder things over the years... on tour and shit...
A very old picture of The Panic Channel that I love. They are all very nice boys from what I can tell, btw. Once upon a time, I was a part of their message board thingy. Shhhhhhhhhh... it's a secret. I'm just a boring knitter... remember. :p
Oh, and Dave Navarro could totally be one of my annoying boy cousins. Trust me when I tell you that is the weirdest part of this whole post. *L*
Oh I think you should have had him go with the socks - that would have been awesome.

I love John Mayer. I am still trying to determine if the socks will be making a trip tomorrow night..I have just a few rows to finish the current socks, and no idea if I will have time to start a new pair before we leave tomorrow afternoon.
These socks..they need to get around!
