I have no idea where the weekend went, but I really would like it back please.
Rant Week*? Yeah, I got bored. Sorry about that.
The wind stopped for a few days and I felt better and really just couldn't be bothered. Can you tell I'm not loving the blog these days? *L*
Plus I had some amazing tea that made me all happy and shit...
I recently ran a swap with a group of friends and this was my package from our Anne. She made the bags and knit the little sock. The card is a reprint of some artwork her son did. And the chocolate lambs didn't survive the night. Shut up.
The tea came from Simpson & Vail and I am hopelessly in love with their Victorian Earl Grey. Not only does it have the usual lovely things we find in good quality Early Grey, but it also has rose petals and lavender, which add a wonderful spring/floral scent/flavor to the tea that I love. (I've been looking for lavender Earl Grey locally for ages and can never find it. I live in the middle of fucking nowhere, I swear.) Although, the filter thingy may just end up being the love of my life. That thing is crazy fabulous, people. Scroll down a tiny bit to the brewing baskets.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got rain to go play in, singles to ply and a spring to enjoy as long as the allergy meds last.
Happy Monday, y'all!
*Unvisited rants: 1) People who can't/won't take a hint (Or NO! for an answer). 2) Super busy people who get high energy pets and blame the dog when things go sideways, which dovetails into puppy mills and the assholes who buy from pet stores. 3) Bloggers who believe what people tell them and pout when they don't get enough comments. 4) Middle aged women and their fucked up girl drama. Pardon me but life is just too short. 5) Car alarms and other forms of suburban torture. No, I'm not kidding.
