A Year of Handspun... The Pools

Pool #1:  When will Cookie go over the wall and start knitting with non-handspun yarn?  *

Pool #2:  When will Joan start complaining about Cookie in public?

 

Prize packages will include some handspun and either weirdness or random nonsense.  Or both!  Prize packages will also include some kind of regional goodie or treat.  Cookie will send out the prize package for Pool #1 and Joan will send out the prize package for Pool #2.

One pair of guesses per reader!

See what other people are guessing before you make your guess!  We don't want everyone picking the same day or something.

Guesses can be on any day or days from December 12 2010 and January 1 2012.

The Pools are open to readers of ShutUp&Knit! and TheJoyofSocks only.  Regular commenters, occasional commenters and lurkers alike.  This includes non-knitters and non-spinners! 

The Pools are not open to anyone looking for prizes online, whether you arrive from another blog, a thread on some website or via google search.

DO NOT offer your guesses on our blogs.  This is the ONLY page where the guesses will be honored and recorded.

In the unlikely event that no one guesses correctly, there will be a random number draw done by Joan's children.  (Which one will depend on who is home at the time of the drawing.)  Either by picking a random day of the year or by picking a random number and the person who left that comment will win the prize package.

*  There are exclusions to the Handspun Only Rule for Cookie.  However, that is no what we are talking about in Pool #1.
