Summer of Socks 2012 is than a month away!
Our Jessica blogged about it yesterday and I already want to smack someone. So we're off to a good start this year. Normally, I want to smack someone in April, so I have high hopes for this year.
No. I am not kidding. Ask the admins. No, wait, don't. You don't want to know what they think of me and my people hate.

Phone rang. Spent the next 42 minutes on the phone. Yeah, we'll try again next week.
I don't know about Summer of Socks this year. I've signed up for the last 2 years and not really done anything with it. I'll be knitting socks, of course, but no more than I generally do.

Summer of socks, eh?
I joined the group, but I'm lazy when it comes to KALs so that's probably as far as I'll go. I joined a KAL for a shawl from the last Knitty, and it started 4/30, and I've got the yarn wound but that's it.

Something I've learned about myself is I don't do well with KALs. I feel like I'm being forced to knit something that wasn't my idea. So, ummm, I'll be cheerleader again! How's that? :D

I love the idea, but didn't follow through last year. I think I'll give it another try. I've got lots of beautiful sock yarn choices.
If it doesn't work I'll have to try cheering too.

I've just knit my first pair of socks in 3 years, so a summer of socks would be pushing it.
Also I've got too much work knitting on the go, and the Tour de Fleece, and it's my first summer home with the monkeys, hmmm, perhaps next year.
