Sad looking, isn't it?
They can't all be winners, ya know.
That's what greets you as you turn into the automall. I'm not sure that this display would make me want to buy a car. Then again, landscaping rarely makes me want to buy anything.
Go figure.
In knitting news...
I finally finished the socks of doom. Photos Sunday.
I cannot believe how long it took me to finish those things. I totally blame the spindling and every single one of you that has encouraged me with this whole spinning business. You know how you are. (Looks around blog.)
I used to be a sock knitting machine, ya know.
Speaking of spinning...
Today I am plying the singles that I spindled on my new ring spindle. I'd show you the spindle, but I'm still too in love with it to share.
Plus I'm still sort of stunned by such an amazing gift.
Tomorrow!
A better looking floral display at the same automall.
Yes, it was one of those weeks over here. feh
Happy Friday, everyone!

Regrettably, it looks MUCH better than my garden. Happy spindling!

You know ... plying goes a lot faster on a wheel ... ;-)

You have automalls out there in California?? I should have known. LOL

Everyone doesn't have automalls? Weird.
Looks like a reasonable floral/landscaping to me.
Plying! and finishing socks! And still spinning. How do you fit it all in?

It is sad, but it is symmetrical. Does that count for anything?

If you bought a wheel you'd have time to spin and knit socks. Just sayin'.

Joan sent you a spindle, I would guess. And knowing Joan, it's the nicest, most beautiful one out there.
Must. See.

Happy Friday to you too! Do we get to see the results of all that plying? :)

Spinning is good for you.
So's knitting.
Spin to knit.
(This coming from the woman who has never used her handspun.)

You got a new spindle after the one you broke and taped and were spinning over the peanuts? Or you fixed it and still spinning over peanuts?

At least you're posting stuff! Ooooh, new spindle, I'm looking forward to seeing it!

Spin over a thick bath mat.
That poor automall bed of flowers needs some serious water.

Spinning is the best. Tour de Fleece is the remedy for July.

You are a madwoman.
I mean that, of course, in the best way.

Can't wait to see the socks - and your spinning of course. Have you thought about a wheel?

The flowers DO look like they could use some TLC. Can't wait to see the spindle and other goodies ;)
