Perhaps I'll even believe that at some point. Right now, I don't know what to think.
Pattern: Impressionist Sock
Yarn: Mystery sock yarn found in the stash
Needles: US1/2.25 mm circular Magic Looped
Time Served: Three days
Mods: Used Cookie Cutter Short Row toes and heels. Knit the three row lace repeat on the cuff.
Judgment: Not thrilled
The pattern does not make a great deal of sense to me confused me*. Strike 1. The lace pattern is worked every row with lots of YOs. Heaven help you if you drop a stitch. Strike 2. My sewn bind off on the picot edge is flipping over and does not look good/show off the picot edge at all. Strike 3.
It might a nice pattern to try cuff down, but, right now, I'm just thankful it's done and I can start something new tomorrow.
At least, the spindling is keeping me busy/happy.
Happy Sunday, people!
* In defense of the designer, I do not believe English is their first language and this may be a large factor in my confusion. Plus I think some designers try to offer too much information at times that leads to confusion for the knitter.
