KmKat posted about this yesterday and I love the idea so much, we're talking about it here today.
Her post got me thinking about how much trash I produce on a weekly basis. Trash pick up here is weekly, so that's why I think in terms of weeks vs months or something. I have the smallest trash can that my county offers and I never fill it in a week. Frankly, I doubt I could fill it in a month because I recycle and reuse as much as I can. Plus there's no cat (poop) here anymore and my produce waste goes in the green waste can. However, think I did and I am going to try to throw away even less.
And, yes, I do know that I am a rare case. (In lots of ways.) But I think it's better to be on my end of things than to be like the couple living across the road from me. They have a big trash can and it's full to brimming every week. No clue what those people are up to, either. I'm a little afraid to find out. o.0
Anyone else want to try to have less waste in February?
While you're thinking about that, also think about what you're doing tomorrow because tomorrow is Super International Pajama Day. A huge thanks to Ryan for mentioning this in her blog. What would I do without Ryan and her updates?
I plan on spending tomorrow in my jammies, eating things I know I shouldn't and watching football while knitting and yelling rude things at the tv.
Oh, and posting the coolest thing ever done with some of my socks.
Well, I've already done errands, been to my LYS where I teased my LYS owner about letting me buy blue lace weight. She honestly thought it was for a gift. *L* I am done with the outside world for the day and plan on finishing my fluffy lace, finish that hat from the other day as it only need decreases and start a new pair of socks.
What are you up to today and will you be getting out your jammies?
Happy Saturday, people!
