Yes, there are even photos of me wearing it.
However, those are not for you. I never smile and am a hag, so really it's for the best.
The 2008 gallery is now done*. It doesn't have everything knit this year, but no one wants to see it all.
There may be a stalker or two that do, but some things just aren't good enough to share, ya know? There's been more than enough ugly, painful and weird around here this year as it is.
Both the good and bad kinds of weird.
And speaking of weird...
I may have purchased enough discounted tissue paper today to share with every single person who reads this blog.
And part of me still wants to go back and get more.
In not weird news...
Some of you may remember way back in the middle of this month that I won a prize at Jean's blog for the charity hats I sent her.
The prize arrived yesterday.
Yes, the photo is slightly off. Shut up.
The yarn is called "Sirena" and it's 70% Merino/ 30% Silk and 100% lovely. The pattern has the same name and was designed by Anne Hanson. This will be my first pattern designed by her and I am looking forward to knitting it up in the new year.
Thanks again Manise for donating such a wonderful prize, to Jean for taking my hats and Jean's husband for picking my name out of the hat. I wonder if it was a donated hat. Hmmmm...
Tomorrow there will be red lace. I have to do a little ripping and fixing, but, by tomorrow, everything should be back on schedule.
Or I'll be drankin' and none of it will matter.
And a big thank you to everyone who reads/comments/lurks for being a part of my little bloggly world. It's been a not great year and having your support and understanding in the things I brought here has helped more than words can ever express. I am truly touched by the kindness and care and am unspeakably grateful.
Have a safe and happy new year! ♥
* That's a lie. There is one item outstanding, but no one will miss it. It may or may not be added at a later date. Shut up.
