It still smells slightly smoky, but it looks pretty good in my little corner of the world.
OmaLa wanted man meat the other day and was very disappointed in me for failing her. OmaLa, this is for you. A very pretty boy... err... man. While I'm not entirely sure who he is, I don't really care. He's pretty, 19 and legal. Plus no one had abs like that when I was 19. I would have noticed!
Jana, who appears to be sadly blogless, asked about my knitting technique. I had to google to figure it out because I never really think about it. I just knit. /hangs head in shame
I guess I knit English. Yarn is over my right index finger. I used to crochet a lot and having the yarn there feels right and normal. Since I don't remember who taught me how to knit, I'm not sure who to blame. However, I do think that I most likely knit in some oddball fashion that would shock people if they ever saw. Part of that whole town freak thingy, ya know.
I've begun my fall cleaning. Yes, I'm a freak, but we've established that already. See above.
How exciting am I?
Jeez...
Maybe I should go out and get myself into trouble, so I'll have something to blog about.
Yeah, maybe not.

I was thinking of fall cleaning, too. Maybe I should live vicariously and let you do the cleaning and I will pretend it's me and my house.
Do you think that will work?
I remain...minion #23

Oh my.
So, that blows my theory that fast knitters knit Continental style..... OR you just fall outside the bell curve. :-)

I think she forces that cat to knit for her. Or she has a basement full of hot man slaves.
Ahhh... I got the urge to fall clean too! I know fall is coming soon because my ornamental grass has it's brushy things. Last night, while waiting for my brand new fridge to cool down, I took all the screens off and washed them (and the windows).

Oh no..the "C" word. I try to avoid that cleaning stuff at all times..it interferes with the fun stuff I like to do.

Hmmm, I have had no urge whatsoever to do fall cleaning. Maybe because the house is still being remodeled and any dust that I remove is instantly replaced by more dust.

The index finger of which hand is the question. If I remember right, the English method is the "throwing" one, with the yarn over the index finger of the right hand. I recently taught myself continental and I have the yarn over the index finger of my left hand now.
