I made a beanie type hat out of the leftover Cascade 220 super wash from the kitty hat I made.
I decided that making a kitty hat for the cat would be a little weird... even for me.
It was a fast, easy knit. Some seed stitch. Some knitting. Some k2togs and it was a hat.
It will be gifted to the boy. He won't like it, but I don't care. I'm still hurt and he can just deal with it.
He is not getting the bear or the postcard, btw.
I had a pink sock that wanted to say hello, but I had to rip it. The heel flap was way too long and made the shortie ribbed cuff look weird.
Okay... weirder.
I'm going to give it another go and hopefully will have it saying hello soon. I've washed my self striping socks and hope they will be dry and ready for the final World Cup Soccer game on Sunday.
Oh, and I cannot wait for my sock kit to arrive. I am currently using a freezer bag to hold my sock fixin's.
No... really.

And here I thought freezer bags were the stylin' way to hold socks in progress. Back to the drawing board!
I spent way too much time last night chasing the dog and one cat around. It seems they thought a parade would be nice and it would be even cooler if yarn were wrapped around their tails with sock as an added attraction. No stitches were lost and I'm sure the addition of a bit of pet hair will make the sock stronger!
